How to add users to your account

The best way to get the most out of the Compete platform is to ensure your key stakeholders have access to the platform. Compete works best when HR, finance, budget owners and management teams are all aligned about their compensation strategy and can see the impact of this strategy in the platform.

One of the first steps in setting up your Compete account is inviting your colleagues to join!

Adding users to your account

If you are an โ€˜Adminโ€™ on the platform, go to Setting > User Management > Add user.

Who can invite new users to an account?

Because of the data contained in our platform, only users classified as โ€˜Adminโ€™ in the platform may add or delete users, as well as grant other users access rights based on their different roles. Please note that you may also restrict a user's access to equity data and allow them to only see the compensation data. You can also restrict a user from seeing C-level and HR data.

To grant user with a permission to update all employee data , edit the new user by clicking the 'pencil' icon on the right and enable the 'Allow data update of all employees' permission.

Having problems sending invitations?

In case your team members cannot find the email invitation, it may be sitting in their junk folder. If they still cannot find the invitation, reach out to us at [email protected] and we can resend the invitation.
