I have employees located around the world. Can I see them on Compete’s platform?

At the moment, we only support the United States, Australia and Israel. Employees in other countries will not be presented within the Compete platform.

Do I have to upload all my employees' data worldwide?

Compete currently supports USA, Australia and Israel as regions we provide benchmarks for. When integrating with your HRIS, data from these regions is being pulled into Compete through our integration partner Merge.

What happens if the Compete user who created the integration using his/her HRIS user leaves our company?

It depends if the integration was made using a personal token (meaning the user who initiated the HRIS integration chose to authenticate through the HRIS using his/her HRIS username & password). In that case the connection will be lost. Which means we will no longer be able to import any new data you add or modified in your HRIS. Previously imported data will remain in Compete.

For example, at Bamboo, a personal token (associated with a specific bamboo user) is being used when initiating the integration. While HiBob offers an option to connect with a Service User, which is a system user that is not associated with any personal HiBob user.

Currently, we do not provide a mechanism to change the associated personal token (but we are working on it!).

Once I add a new employee to my HRIS, when will I be notified, and what will I need to do?

Compete syncs with your HRIS once a day. The next time you launch Compete after adding a new employee to your HRIS, assuming that sync has occurred, you will be notified within the platform. You'll be requested to verify that employee's information, fill in any missing information (e.g. Compete level) and save after you reviewed all tasks.

How often is the data updated?

Compete syncs with your HRIS once a day. If you made a recent change to one of your employees in your HRIS or a new employee was added, expect to see the change within 24 hours. You can find the last sync date on the people page.

How can I add employees to my data? / How can I update my data?

In addition, Compete syncs with your HRIS once a day. You will now be notified when you have pending updates from your HRIS to either validate, change or approve your data in the Compete edit table.
